Privacy policy
Cardflow is made by Kego Media, run by Gianmarco Lubiana in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what Cardflow keeps about you, why, and for how long. Questions: gianmarco@kegomedia.com.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, and your name and photo if you sign in with Google.
- Your videos: the videos, images, clips and screen recordings you upload, their transcripts, and the cards and edits you make.
- Your settings: brand kits, styles, logos, intros, outros and sound choices.
- Billing: your plan, minutes used and payment history. Card details are handled by Stripe; Cardflow never sees or stores your card number.
- If you join the waitlist: the email address you give us.
How we use it
Only to run Cardflow for you: to transcribe your videos, plan and write your cards, render your exports, keep track of your minutes, take payment, and email you about your videos and your account. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your videos to train AI models.
Who helps us run Cardflow
- Railway (servers, in the United States): runs Cardflow and stores your videos.
- Supabase: stores your account, plan and minutes.
- Anthropic: Cardflow sends the transcript of your video to Anthropic's AI to plan and write your cards. Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its models.
- Stripe: takes payments.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Resend: sends emails such as "your video is ready to edit".
- Netlify: hosts this website and the waitlist form.
Each of them only gets what it needs for its part.
How long we keep it
- Footage: your uploaded videos and clips are deleted 30 days after you last worked on them. Your cards and edits stay, so you can still download them; Cardflow shows a countdown before footage is deleted.
- Free trial videos are deleted after 7 days.
- Your account: until you delete it. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) removes your videos, settings and sign-in, and cancels your subscription.
- Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Cookies
Cardflow uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can see, download, correct or delete your data at any time, in the app or by emailing us. If you're in Canada, the EU or the UK, you also have the rights your local privacy law gives you, including complaining to your privacy regulator.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
